Screenings: A fifteen minute screening is a convenient way to assess if your child’s speech/language development falls within the typical range or if a more extensive evaluation is warranted.
Screening fee: FREE
Evaluations: Comprehensive evaluations include standardized tests, parent interviews, and informal observations. An intake form must be completed prior to the evaluation appointment. This form can be sent to you via regular mail, or electronically for your convenience. This information guides the selection of appropriate testing materials as well as providing background information, medical history, etc. Following the completion of the evaluation, a report will be provided which will include assessment data, areas of weakness to be targeted, recommendations and a treatment plan. A full report will be provided within a two week time period.
Articulation evaluation fee: $75 (Sounds in words and conversation)
Language evaluation fee: $125 (Vocabulary, comprehension, social language)
Combined Articulation and Language evaluation fee: $175
Consultations: Constultations are provided to gather information and to create a treatment plan following an evaluation by another certified speech-language pathologist.
Consultation fee: $25
Individualized Therapy: TheraSpeech provides one-on-one speech & language therapy in a community based setting or in your home for an additional $10/session within the New Castle area. For sessions outside of the New Castle area, a transportation fee will be added according to the distance traveled. Therapy sessions are typically 30-45 minutes in length, depending on the age and needs of the child. Home practice suggestions will be given to allow for optimal carryover of skills learned.
Individualized Therapy fee per session: $60
($250 for five sessions – must prepay in order to get the five sessions discount)
Payment is due at time of service. Payments may be made with cash, Venmo, or check payable to TheraSpeech.
TheraSpeech does not accept Medicaid or Insurance at this time.
If you wish to submit to your own insurance for reimbursement, a superbill will be made available for you. Private insurance coverage and reimbursement are the full responsibility of the caregiver.
